Why a Boulevard med spa needs AutoMeit specifically

If your practice already runs on Boulevard, you have made a clear strategic choice. You operate at the premium end of the market, your service menu includes recurring memberships and treatment packages, and your provider calendar is the single most expensive piece of inventory you own. The problem is that Boulevard is the back office. It does not answer the phone, it does not respond to the after-hours caller asking about a tox touch-up, and it does not book the Saturday-evening lead who only had ninety seconds before her ride showed up.

A generic AI receptionist will not solve this. Most voice AI products were designed for plumbers, dentists, and home services, then retrofitted with a few aesthetics keywords. They do not understand the difference between a Botox add-on and a full Dysport package, they cannot quote your member pricing, and they certainly cannot reserve a member-only slot inside your live Boulevard calendar. AutoMeit was built around the Boulevard data model from day one. Every call we handle for a Boulevard practice writes back into the same source of truth your front desk uses, so your team is never reconciling a phantom calendar after the fact.

What this integration does

AutoMeit becomes the live phone front-end of your Boulevard tenant. The integration covers four hard requirements every Boulevard med spa has:

Real-time calendar sync. The AI checks Boulevard provider availability before offering a slot. If your nurse injector has a 4:15 PM cancellation today, the AI sees it the moment Boulevard sees it and offers it to the caller. There is no nightly batch sync, no five-minute lag, and no double-booking risk.

Direct booking from phone calls into Boulevard. When the caller confirms a slot, the appointment is written into Boulevard with the correct provider, service code, duration, and any required deposit hold. The booking confirmation SMS your client receives comes from the same Boulevard messaging stack your front desk uses, so the experience is seamless.

Customer record creation. First-time callers get a Boulevard client profile created on the call: name, phone, email, treatment of interest, referral source, and the call recording linked in the notes field. If the caller is a returning client, the AI matches the phone number to the existing record and adds the new appointment to their history.

Two-way availability check. If you change a provider schedule in Boulevard at 8 AM, the AI knows by 8 AM. If you block out a half-day for a CME or a vendor visit, the AI stops offering those slots. The sync runs both directions, so the AI never offers a time that is not actually available.

How AutoMeit connects to Boulevard

The connection is a real API integration, not a screen-scraping workaround. We use Boulevard's API with OAuth-based authorization granted by your account owner. Setup takes one short call and runs in 24 to 48 hours from kickoff. During configuration, our onboarding team mirrors four pieces of your Boulevard tenant into the AI's knowledge base:

Service menu sync. Every service code, package, and add-on you have configured in Boulevard is loaded into the AI's qualification flow. When a caller asks about a "Dysport touch-up" or "the laser package", the AI knows the exact service in your Boulevard tenant, the standard duration, and the price band you charge.

Provider availability. Each provider's working hours, blocked time, and service permissions (which services they are credentialed for) are pulled from Boulevard so the AI offers the right people the right slots. If only your medical director can perform a particular treatment, only her calendar gets offered.

Treatment durations. The AI uses your real Boulevard service durations, not generic guesses. A 30-minute Botox consult books a 30-minute slot. A 90-minute laser session books a 90-minute slot. Your calendar density never breaks.

Deposit handling. If your practice charges a deposit on certain consults or treatments, the AI captures the card during the call using Boulevard's payment flow and applies the deposit to the booking. No paper trail, no callback to collect later.

Med spa workflows supported

New patient intake to calendar booking to confirmation. A first-time caller asks about lip filler. The AI qualifies the inquiry (preferred provider, treatment goal, scheduling window, budget), checks Boulevard availability, offers the next two compatible slots, books the appointment, captures the deposit if your practice requires one, and triggers Boulevard's confirmation SMS. Total time on the call: about three minutes. Your front desk does not touch it.

Existing client reschedule with availability check in Boulevard. A returning client calls to move next Tuesday's appointment. The AI matches her phone number to her Boulevard record, looks up the original booking, asks for her preferred new window, checks live Boulevard availability, and updates the appointment in place. The original deposit transfers to the new slot automatically.

VIP client routing during business hours. Boulevard lets you tag clients (VIP, member, package holder, high spender). When a tagged client calls during business hours, the AI greets her by name and warm-transfers her to your front desk or her preferred provider. Outside business hours, the AI handles the full booking flow but flags the call in your dashboard so your team can follow up the next morning.

After-hours new lead capture. A 9:42 PM caller asks about Sculptra pricing. The AI handles the qualification fully, books the consult into Boulevard for the next available day, sends the deposit confirmation, and your front desk inherits a complete record at 9 AM the next morning. No voicemail, no callback queue, no lost lead.

Pricing

The Boulevard integration is included with the Growth and Elite plans. The full med spa pricing breakdown lives on our pricing page: Starter at $297/mo (missed-call recovery and after-hours AI), Growth at $497/mo (full 24/7 coverage with Boulevard integration and bilingual support), Elite at $697/mo (adds reactivation campaigns and advanced analytics on top of Growth). There is no additional integration fee, no per-booking surcharge, and no per-minute usage cost. Practices on the Starter plan that want to add Boulevard integration can upgrade in place at any time.

Setup process

Day 1. Discovery call (30 minutes). We pull your Boulevard service menu, walk through your provider list and credentialing rules, and document your practice's tone of voice, top three FAQs, and any special policies (cancellation window, deposit rules, member benefits).

Day 2 to 3. Boulevard integration configuration. Our team authorizes the API connection, mirrors your service codes into the AI's qualification flow, sets up provider routing, and configures deposit handling.

Day 4 to 5. Voice tuning and test calls. Our team runs end-to-end test bookings on a sandbox calendar, calibrates the AI's voice and pacing to your brand, and runs at least 10 scenario test calls (new patient, existing reschedule, after-hours, VIP, deposit collection).

Day 6 to 7. QA and go-live. You and your front desk lead listen to the test calls, sign off on the AI's handling, and we flip the live phone number. Your dedicated CSM stays on standby for the first 72 hours of live traffic.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI write to my Boulevard calendar in real time, or is there a sync delay? Real time. The AI writes the appointment to Boulevard before the call ends, and your front desk sees the booking on the live calendar the moment the caller hangs up. There is no nightly batch and no five-minute lag.

What if I add a new service or package in Boulevard? Does the AI know? Yes. The integration polls your service catalog regularly and the AI is updated within minutes of a Boulevard service change. For major catalog overhauls, your CSM can trigger an immediate refresh.

How does cancellation policy enforcement work? The AI is trained on your exact cancellation window and fee structure. When a caller asks to cancel inside the window, the AI either applies the fee per your rules or routes the call to a human, whichever your practice prefers. The decision tree is configured during onboarding.

Can the AI quote member pricing and check package balances? Yes. Boulevard memberships and packages are first-class objects in the integration. When a tagged member calls, the AI quotes member-rate pricing and can check the remaining balance on her treatment package before booking.

What happens if Boulevard is down? The AI gracefully degrades. It still answers every call, qualifies the lead, and captures full intake details. As soon as Boulevard returns, queued bookings sync into the live calendar automatically. You do not lose calls during a Boulevard outage.
